95 5.0 HO build from 94 short block,

My spider showed up so now it's time to get the lifters in and check push Rod length,I have some that are 6.40 I think so it would be nice if they fit so I can adjust the rockers and get the lower intake on.
I ordered some valve covers that I think will look good on top.

what size rockers are you using? Also you will want to bolt up the accessory brackets and the alt as well as bolt up the upper intake before your sure they will fit. Its common to have to clearance the covers from the alt on 94/95 as well as for that oil fill hold to be in the way of the bent neck on the upper.

I have a new alt bracket ordered and I also have a coil and ac/ps bracket on the way,I will mock up the whole motor to make sure all is good,my transmission should be here in about 3 weeks from what the builder said, I should say things are changing.....I have found a high mileage 94 red GT with a 5 speed and 5.0 about 3 hours away from me and they are asking 1900 for it so now I'm thinking of leaving the motor in my black GTS and putting the new tranny it that being the one in it is bad and then buying the one with the 5speed and putting the motor I'm building in that,it's in better condition then my 95.
im waiting for a return email so I can go look at it in the next few days.

1.6 with a letter cam and added a spacer for upper and lower intake as you can see on the pic........If I buy the Red GT it will give me another donor motor to build up and do it right so I am able to run a T70 or 76 on it.

Well they are getting my tranny shipped out it passed the Dyno testing and my HFP-342 fuel pump showed up along with my wideband and gauge and mount,I didn't think my tranny would be done this fast be they just said it would still be a bit,I'm sure it will take a week or so to get here freight.

Now I really need to think about the 94 Red GT with the 5.0 and 5 speed for 1800.00,now I should get looking for a T70/76 set up.

Block is all done now on to next project,going to MPLS/St Paul tomorrow to p/u a 94 GT 5.0 with a 5 speed and 140k on it,new clutch and newer T5 rebuild. This will be my basic turbo project with a T 60 or 62.
