95 5.0 VS LS1 VETTE AND LS6 Z06....OUTCOME?

Well I've got a guy wanting to run me. His car is a C5 Corvette with intake and exhaust. He said there is no way that my 5.0 can beat him. He said that his Corvette kept up with his friend's C5 Z06 that has an exhaust on it. He said at 120mph he was at the Z06's fender.

Well I plan on running him or his friend. My 5.0 makes 328rwhp and 337rwtq. What do you guys think? Do I have enough?

BTW on the bottle my car makes 408rwhp and 444rwtq.

My car weighs around 3200-3300lbs and I'm one driving mofo! :bunny3:

I don't know how well the drivers are of the Vettes, I only know they are around 18-20 years old and mommy and daddy bought the cars for them. :hammer:

So i mean, they arn't enything to play with.
Top end he will have you, so it will have to be from a dig or a low roll i amigen. And hope he doesn't start reeling you in.
B/c you might have more hp, but he has weight.

Wait... Note to self, the Camaro had a jump on the c5 Vette, but the Vette had ALOT better of a driver, the Guy in the camaro didnt know how to drive his car... and he still dont.

400hp in the hands of a 16 year old... Parents... >.< lol

On the bottle without a doubt. LS1 V-8 only delivers 350 hp(flywheel) and 375 lb.-ft....intake and exhaust maybe another 20-25hp...so that puts him around 320whp. So if it's a race without spray,it's going to be close....but with him talkin all that smack,I say spray it......and laugh :naughty:

and him saying that he "kept up"....kinda sounds like a car length or more in real life.....that's a big difference. And I would say that with him being young...they won't be the best drivers either.....No offense to any one.lol

i have raced both types of vehicles in my stang. the c5 with exhaust i showed him my tails from about 4 cars up. the Z06 pulled a door on me then we stayed even. this kid ethier doesnt know how to drive or thats a weak z06

I really don't want to have to resort to spraying these fools. :rant: It would be alot better to unhook the nitrous and bust their asses.

My car definately pulls stronger than any stock or close to stock C5 I've ever been in. Especially from a 1st gear roll. I've got 17x9"s with 275s on the back and on the motor I'm sideways halfway through 2nd shifting like a 83 year old woman. :noes:
