5.0 cobra motor has a lot of better parts.

yeah, the oly thing making the power difference, is the injectors, heads and intake.


same crank, rods, and pistons.

different cam, roller rockers, and stiffer springs also. the pistons are hyperuetectic pistons.

why a cora motor ? its prolly expensive and you could just rebuild yours with new hci or get s stroker

I was just going to ask if you could turn my stock 5.0L into a Cobra? What all will I need to have this done? I am not really looking for the perf gains, It was just better. Will this be cheaper? Sorry I'm even dumber than I already am about this stuff! I guess you'll rebuild mine with better part? I don't want to stroke it, I don't think?

Again, all I really know I want is to stay with a 5.0L. Other than that, don't have any clue!!

You can use better heads, Cam and Intake that came on the Cobra and have an engine w/ more power then the Cobra did.


The 95 R also had hyperuetectic Pistons. Just an FYI

I beat 94 and 95 gts afrom digs + rolls by atleast 2.5 cars with the same mods as me and some 96-98 cobra by about a car with my 94 Cobra.....Could also be depending on the driversmods...... Definetly a little more power then the 94-95 gts but nothing to brag about
