95 GT for 2grand...

Uncle told me he found a 95GT for 2grand. I was thinking of selling my car and buying a blower and stuff for it IF its in good shape. Does that sound like a smart idea?

I highly doubt you would be able to just buy it and supercharge it as it is a 2k car. But, do a rebuild (bore it out, heads, pistons, rings, etc) and other maintenance stuff to support the blower, and it should be pretty sweet.......

And a hell of a lot cheaper than a Termy.

i think the internals are good for around 400-450...and the block is good for like 500-550. i believe

hell fets even if that sob is high miles just buy it, beat the every loving shit out of it then pull it and drop in a 351w stroker. Fuck superchargering a 302. You will have a very stout motor and it wont be as obvious as a blower sitting ontop of the 302. If i could do it over again or if i found one that cheap thats what i would do. all motor power>power adder

Why would you sell yours to buy another for the same price? You would gain about the same putting a blower on your car as you would a 95.
