I picked this up in addition to most of the interior out of a 95 GT that was being parted out. I did some research and it seems to be classified as a "fit" only for 94-95 GT and V6 Mustangs. I did a quick/loose test fit on my 2003 V6 and didn't see anything obvious that would cause it not to fit.
I thought these cars were effectively the same underlying chassis?
Will this be able to be installed on my '03? How much fabrication/modification will have to be done, if any?
The only thing I can see that might be an issue is the right most bolt hole on the rear that bolts to the Firewall plate lines up with a thin metal bit that currently holds a clip to keep part of the wiring harness up and against the firewall. The metal looks pretty thin and I think would want to be beefed up some before bolting it in, or would it be fine?
