many people think they have "GTS" mustangs because their insurance tags say it, but in 99.99% of the cases they are mistaken.

He has manual seats, manual mirrors, manual windows (both of them), a manual trans, he must have a v6 steering wheel (it's not as nice as the GT wheel I have) and non-lighted visors. He bought the car from a kid in louisiana knowing it was a GTS. The original question was if a GTS had the extra wiring for power seats. After taking the stained tan carpet out I answered my question.

anyways, cool car. the only way ive seen someone determine if their car was a true GTS was a snop shot of the window sticker on the date-of-purchase.
and i do believe GTSs were made in 1996 as well, but i may be wrong. i went to the mustang source.com and they had a picture of a 1996 GTS in their timeline...
