ok so i have a 95 stock short block, gt40x heads, b cam typhoon intake. by spring im planning to have it boosted.
this is what i have in mind, im gonna custom build my manifolds from shorty headers, looking to buy a masterpower t70,
tial wastegate and blitz bov, have my maf cal'd for 42# injectors, and get a fuel pump booster. i k
now the b cam is not great for boost, i plan to replace the short block with a factory forged one, the cam will be changed then,
want to get the tfs 1 cam. looking to run about 6-10 psi, maybe 425-450 rwhp.now i have a few Qs
1 what side should i mount the turbo? my ac is removed, and abs will be.
2 i dont have a tune, i tuned it my self with timing, iac bypass, fuel pressure, and a wideband, my car drive like its factory(never stalls at stops)
it may not be making the power it could be but it runs good. if i have to get a tuner what would be good? moates?
3 anyone have advice on building my manifolds?
any other things a need to looking into?

Just keep your turbo away from any exhaust manifolds (heat sink) and make sure you have a good intercooler. Go for effectiveness, not looks. Trust me lol

And I've heard nothing but good things about moates.

Tuning is nothing you really wanna short yourself out on unless you plan on replacing motor after motor. More air, more fuel, bigger fuel injectors, etc...

Good luck!

Turbos are fun :)

hmm thats interesting about the rear mounted twins.. I'm not sure about what cam im gonna get, might get a steeda 19.
here's another question, do i have to use v-bands for my turbo manifolds? because i was thinking i could leave my headers
and just use part of the regular down pipe. or will it leak?

ok few more questions. where do i send my pro-m maf to have it cal'd for 42# injectors? (I also plan
to get 60# injectors and a blow through after a bit)
And will a t76 p-trim be to big for my motor? what a/r would i get? i want to make power
by cfm not by running my car on the edge of detonation. I noticed many people upgrading
to the MP t76. i dont really want to be disappointed.

Good questions, I can chime in on injectors and your mass air sensor...get them from the same supplier so they can calibrate the sensor for the injectors. Boosted motors need different mass air sensors than N/A. Fuel/Air ratio is extremely important so you don't blow the thing to pieces. I don't think a t76 will be too big, but without forged internals that motor won't need 60 lb. injectors.

yeah 76 will be ok around 10 psi will be a max for you though should easily reach the max power potential for the oem block which is a rule of thumb at about 500 rwhp...

42 or 60 injectors, go single turbo, its alot easier and much more space. Also, about 10 psi will be the most you wanna run, generally.

IDK where you can send it to get it calibrated but i know JD's Preformance sells them pre calibrated for alot of different apps for $295. You might be able to contact them and see if they can help...
