96-98 cobra hood on 5.0 V8 Fitment question

Hi everyone, I just got a great deal on a 96-98 cobra hood and I read somewhere that this hood will not fit with the 5.0 with the stock sway bar. To me this doesnt make sense as I thought the cobra hood actually gave a little more clearence to the engine bay. If anyone knows please let me know.

well the same bar is on the bottom so how could it matter?

Mine fit fine...the upper intake rubs against the hood apron slightly but doesn't hurt anything.
