96-98 midpipe on a 94-95??

I've read dozens of threads on this and I can't find a conclusive answer.

Some say it will not work at all, others say the hangers are different.

So can someone provide a definate answer on this, maybe someone that has done it? Will a 96-98 midpipe fit on a 94-95?
