96 mustang GT question

Hi all, quick question,


My GT is not PI swapped, and Ive read I can run a KB 2.1L Blower without doing the PI swap. I know the power will not match the PI swapped cars, but was just wondering

tehy no longer sell those kits, but due to your lower compression ratio, you can run higher boost and may be able to make MORE power than if you had PI swap.

KB only sells kits for PI swaps now. so you will have to find the PI adapter plates (ask SRT Handz where he got his) and the blower, or you will have to try and just wing it.

You should be able to run the KB just fine on non pi heads. Should be just like using a PI intake on npi heads. It's not an optimal setup no, but it should be alright. I wouldn't expect more than 350hp max either.

thats what i meant by "wing it" lol. run the PI manifold that comes with the blower on the npi OEM parts.

and 350 is probably about where i would guess the npi heads max out at... maybe some race gas, advanced timing, and prayers you can push for 375ish.... ..
