97 80mm MAF

Has anyone successfully used a 97 MAF on a 94/95? I have a good 80mm MAF from a 97 Cobra. It seems like it would work well with a 5.0L running a 65mm TB.

what intake are you running? The stock gt/cobra intake is only 70mm.

same as the cobra then, 70mm. There is room to port at least 5 mm as I did it on mine but not sure about 10mm. The only other issue is if you need it unless your boosted I don't see the juice being worth the squeeze

Thanks, I am beginning to think it isn’t needed either. When you said you ported yours 5mm, Do you mean you port matched the inlet on the Cobra manifold?

yes exactly as well as ported the lower intake which is more common.
