^^^with the setup you have now I wouldn't settle for anything less than an '03-'04 with at least some bushing work and differential brace.

They were cleaned, wet sanded and wiped down with never dull... Not really into the polishing thing i just like them to look clean. Might consider a mirror polish later but im not to concerned with it right now.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone, Deff handles way better now and im loving the subframes on this car...

what wheels are those? backspacing and width? if you don't mind me asking. car looks awesome by the way.

FR500s 17x9 Front and 17x10.5" Rears

Not 100% on front B.S but the rears like 6.5" or 6.65 or something in that ballpark. And thanks...

Tell me about it? I had a clunk going into drive or reverse at times but i was running the smaller lower controll arm bolts and not the larger bolts that i should have used. Since then the clunk is gone and it was my fault for using a bolt to small.

That´s a normal mustang clunk, not very much related to the IRS, mine even did that with the SRA.
The IRS (in many cases, 70% even came from factory with it) clunks when changing gears if you're no carefully shifting and clunk when you get in and out of throttle. Feels like a lot of driveline slack being taken up.

I've got a lot of mods that are supposed to get rid of it, but it's different for everyone... I've got the complete delrin bushing set, aluminium diff bushings, bigger bolts.. Seems like my next step in trying to get rid of it would be a new pumpkin and/or halfshafts.

Wow, No issues with that but my dads 07GT has that issue and i hate it!

This is a 04 Rear with FRPP 4.10 Gears, Billet Flow Diff Brace, Full Tilt Boogie Racing complete kit, H&R Race springs and the stock Bilstein shocks.

Only issue i have is wheel hop in 2nd when i shift at about 6800 rpm going into 2nd with out lifting on the throttle.

so you don't have any wheel hop issues when launching in first? I have a 01 IRS with 3:73s and what appears to be delrin/urethane bushings although I have no clue how to tell what brand they are. Anything you would have done differently on the install? and do you happen to have any pictures on how you routed the brake lines? thanks for taking the time, I plan to install my IRS in a month or so.

If anyone has any idea about these aftermarket bushing kits, the IRS sub-frame bushings are white and the control arm bushings are a light blue. any help in discovering which kit this is will be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like an early set of Delrin bushings from full tilt boogie racing. Take a clear picture and send it to Bruce so he can make sure: [email protected]

If you have the IRS out of the car still, do yourself a favor and install bruce's grease nipples now. I didn't and regret it!

Ok I may sound dumb... But what's the advantage of going IRS . And what's all involved.. And finally I have had a few 03-04 cobra buddy's swap for a solid axle because at the track they will destroy the pumpkin or snap axles is the Sra stronger or more rigid? I'm new to this one lol..

No way to get agood shot at the brake lines unless the wheel are s next time i pull the ill try to remember to take a picture..

I got on it 100% dry roads abut 4k in first no wheel hop, Banged 2nd and got slight wheel hop but it was not bad enough to let out it spun right through it like a champ and onward i went to third.

Now tonight leaving work it was wet out, Rain stoped about 15 mins prior to me pulling out i gave it a little gas broke loose in 1st an hopped a little bit so i let out then in 2nd did it again and it hopped again, still nothin violent enough for the need to let out and i bet if there were some nitto 555's or somthing with a softer compound back there it would be a different story.
