Guy my buddy works with just bought a 98 Yellow Cobra with 40k for $12,000 completely stock. That's the difference between a dealer and a private party. Unless its new, I won't buy a mustang from a dealer.

Don't be mean :(

All things aside I only paid 6900 for mine.

I would have advised you against that mr advisor......

The price of a MUSTANG that is called a COBRA for the sn95 era is stupid high. Only due to shelby being dead did the price go through the roof. Save your money (as much as i hate 4v's) buy a mach one for 15k and be better off then that collection of bolts above.

Well realistically I bought it from an aesthetics side. You know my cars swapped, you know I'm not that big on B head motors. Nor is my car the pinnacle of anything with a cobra badge on it. Just what I like interior and exterior. As far as drivetrain goes it's poo from the factory.

$13.5 is ricockulous for a 98 with almost 100k on it man. I wouldn't pay more than 5 MAYBE 6 if it was REALLY REALLY clean.. But I'm with duffy for that price you could buy yourself a Mach lol

Got to remember different regions have different pricing. That car in nj or phila area would probably be on Craigslist for 10-12k. Not saying it would sell for that but people are trying.

And I agree with duff, the mach 1 is the best deal going. I have been checking them out and nice ones are going for @ 12k.

True, NY/NJ/PHILLY area it would be at the same price if not more. I've seen a few clean low mileage Mach 1's for 11-13k in the tri state area. But I would not pay 13k for a 15 year old cobra, if i was rich and was collecting sure.

That's high. We paid $10,500 for our 96 2 years ago. It had 37,400 miles and was a garage queen cream puff with lots of extras and all of the original parts.

These cars don't grow on trees anymore. I see them for sale rarely on craigslist. You can't site SVTp as an example to ruin that theory. Considering its meant to centralize these cars.

I paid 7k for my 96 Cobra Vert with 115k and it blew up on me 3 months later. IMO - no SN-95 Cobra except a Termi or Mystic is worth mor than 5-6k.
