Hello everyone! This is my first post so hello!

Anyways, in my looking to upgrade the stereo in my car, I got on the idea of double din touch navigation receivers after seeing how big the space is in my dash lol. So then I attacked Google of course to find help on how to do this, how to custom make a radio bezel, and what cutting the bars inside my dash will do. The best thing I found was this picture, and it is exactly what I want to do -

And the even better part is I found that pic linked to your forums. But I found it while they were down for a while, so now I am back looking and cant seem to find it anymore.

So would anyone be able to help me out in finding the thread, or maybe even making another simple how too would be amazing, but yes it is asking a lot :p

Cant wait to be around here, and I'll go add my ride and introductions in the next few days!

Thanks you!

Andrew

I know I know there is no easy way of doing it, I'm just looking for tips or advise to make it easier from someone who has done it before

if you do not have fiberglass molding exp, it would be easier for you to just do a new edge dash swap. If you want someone to do it for you send me a pm and we can probably work it out.

i dont have that experience lol, do you mean switching to the radio bezel with the double din opdning below it? because I've seen how to do that but i think it sits too low behind the shifter. but i may end up doing that for the simplicity.

so im not completely sure what the new edge swap is

99-04 mustangs are refered to as "new edge"
the center panel on the new edge stangs already come with the double din bezel.
it's an easy swap after you remove the support behind the panel.
