99 SVT Cobra Convertible First Autocross

I picked up this 32k original mile, one owner, completely stock 99 Cobra Convertible a couple months ago with the intention of autocross racing it. I took it to a Novice School in my area a month ago and finally raced it in a points even on Saturday in the pouring rain in Eugene Oregon. I raced as a Novice and the car falls into F-Street. I have put a new set of Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02s on it. I was able to ride with a couple other F-Street drivers before it was my turn to race. We each got 5 runs. My last run was the fastest and I placed first as a Novice and would have been first in F-Street. My time was 50.569 and the second fastest time in class was a 2017 Mustang GT with a 50.748. It was an awesome experience and I am very impressed with my stock Cobra. It handles really well and has enough power to be fun without being uncontrollable. Especially in the wet environment I found myself in on Saturday.
