A\C Probs

Guys my A\C has never worked. I don't think its a Freon prob (though it maybe). I purchased one of those R134A kits from Autozone and the gauge read that i didn't need any. What else could it be? Ive checked vac lines and found nothing. I'm leaning towards a bad compressor now...

compressor could be shot, you sure its got a charge? could be a plugged filter drier...but im not sure if there even on auto systems? you should beable to tell if the compressor is comming on or not.

My car is a 5 Speed. Yeah, i think the compressor is working. When the A\C is on you can stt it start and stop....

Questions:

What are your high/low PSI readings?
Is the compressor clutch engaging?
Did you check the pressure switch that sits on top of the black canister located on the firewall passanger side?

My guess is it is this switch...
