took out the lines last week end, going to get the pump out this weekend. should i take out the condenser? or just leave it there so that it takes any rock and the rad does not. also what about what is in the cab. should i take the box out? i am assuming that there is something in the cab with the lines that run in there. thanks.......

Since the only performance gain in removing the A/C system is the loss of weight you should remove the condenser and the evaporator that is in your duct system, though it may be a nightmare to get to it, for maximum effect of the modification. Since the compressor is so much lighter than the compressor of the 60's and 70's the weight reduction is not quite as significant.

I trust when you removed the lines that you also removed the accumulator?
