found an autometer air/fuel ratio gauge laying around and i figured id throw it in the car for now. question is: its not a wideband its just an air/fuel gauge.which o2 sensor do i hook it up to?
Its cool I don't mind as long as it stays on track...not all are widebands unless there's something I don't know.and I don't really know Jack about gauges haha
You dont hook narrow band up to O2's. I mean you can, but its much easier to tap into the purple w/white stripe wire in the passengers side kickpanel. Either way a narrow a/f is simply a light show for passengers to look at while you drive.
is there something i can get to use it as a wideband?i have 2 gauges that match that i already have that id like to use if possible instead of spending a boat load of money on brand new ones
as far as I'm aware you cant make a narrow band into a wideband. I just finished up doing my AEM wideband and they have a lot of features that narrowbands done (but again look at the $$$ difference). As said, narrowbands are basically a light show, if you are doing it for aesthetics it will look great
