A few valve spring questions

I'm getting ready to buy blower cams ...finally. All of my car's head work was done prior to me buying it. I know that Steen Racing ported them and installed PI cams, but I have no idea if they replaced the stock valve springs with aftermarket one's. If I pull my valve cover, is there any way to tell if they are the stockers just by looking at them? I know that 99% of the aftermarket springs are the beehive design. Is that what the stock one's look like as well? Also, is it possible to change out the springs on a 4.6 2V with the head still on the block if I need to?

but yes you can do it while they are on the car. You just need the OTC tool

sorry, can't tell the springs by sight...i ran into the same problem once with my old mustang

on top of that, it's always a good idea to change valve springs with cams, just incase the new lobe pattern doesn't like the already-worn valve springs

There is only a little over 5k on my motor, but I'm going to change the springs regardless. I'm in there, might as well get it done.
