Yeah man. It really sucks because I really liked the rims! But now I cant stand to look at them.

did you get them from american muscle? i got a replacement 03 cobra rim from there when i cracked mine and theres was the first one to pit from brake dust and what not. now i cant get that crap off to save my life. good luck tho :thumbsup:

Had my BC's for a year now and they still look brankd new. I got mine from Cruzin Concepts and only use Chrome cleaner/polish on them. They see weather, rain, heat, etc. and they're still great.

I'd say that there was something wrong with the actual finish, either that or you were using some kind of a harsh chemical cleaner not meant for chrome. BC is actually extremely durable because not only is it black podercoat, it's covered in chrome..

Yeah man, I never used any kind of chemical to clean them. Only soap and water and every now and then mother's chrome polish.

Damn dude that sucks, those rims looked really good on your car. My friend had black chrome fr500s on his stang and the finish on his was practically peeling off, so something is definitely up with quality of these products imo. I think either chrome saleens or silver fr500s would be a good choice for your next wheels.

DUDE no on the Silver you went from a Chrome and now you want a Silver. I would say if anything go back to the Chrome FR500's

Well, then you my friend, do not want FR's! LOL

It takes me like 10 minutes to rinse my wheels and tires off compared to probably 20 min with my old anthracite FR's.

I know I had chrome ones. But I'm talking about the general having to worry about it peeling and pitting and scratching. Also having to polish it. And a chrome rim, when its dirty.. It DIRTY.

Ath./silver/black just seem easier to take care of to me..
