I have a NPI engine. I am doing a cam and intake swap. My question is regarding the crossover. My current intake has an aluminum crossover, so I know it was replaced at some point. I have read that I can unbolt the cross over from my existing intake, and swap it onto my FRPP Intake, allowing me bypass drilling and tapping the new intake for the second temp sensor, and use my stock alternator bracket without modification. So, is this a good idea? Is there any potential downside to this?

The potential downside is possibly tearing a gasket and creating a leak that you can’t fix because those gaskets aren’t available.
