google the car and find out what the HP rating is.
If you do race, only do it from a dead stop not a roll.

Unless either of you pull off a miracle you'd both run 15s. But race him from a dig and you could get him. If you have an auto though, just know you will lose.

I would not bet on it, but I would not turn it down. From a dig you should be able to get a jump off the line just watch out when it starts spooling. From a dig and try to make it a short distance and you got a good change lol.

That cars fwd, go from a dig. Those can be pretty quick if they're modded just like the little srt neon's but that caliber in stock form should be a good match with your car.

I know the cailbers can be pretty fast with some work. What year is it? I have some friends that have some, I've heard if its one of the first years of the caliber the stock boost is much higher. On the newer onces the stock boost is reduced.

In a 100ft dash (an event during summer at home, they set up a 100ft strip and split everyone into classes of power adders and see who is the fastest) I beat a srt4 caliber (one of the early year ones) with my 4.2 v6 without the supercharger (199hp).

Those things are usually good for mid-low 14s at around 103mph in the 1/4 from what Ive seen. They have a pretty nice 6 speed too. On paper you will get embarrassed, but your best bet is from a dig and pray he can't drive worth a darn. Good luck, please be safe!

he will clobber you like a small school girl.

my full bolt on GT was 1.4 seconds slower than a stock SRT4 neon.... (14.1 to 15.5)

That may not sound like a lot on the interwebz, but its like 5 car lengths. lol.

just keep your pride and say "no, im not too into racing, i just like clean cars that are fun to drive."

Race anyways! it'll be fun! I've been to the track a few times without the supercharger. I've won some, lost lots. But i race against my own time and improved my time alot.

You'll never know unless you try, maybe you'll smoke him.

Altitude is a ***** at 5280, at least everyone out here has to fight it.

Chris, boosted cars are not affected by altitude as much as n/a cars. A 14.1 SRT is not stock by any means.

i actually know he will :(

as much as i love mustangs, my old srt neon would spank a stock sn' ass, lolol. that's just cause it was factory turbo'd. now turbo a 4.6 and well...

i'd say the caliber is bout 260-300 horse. turbo'd 2.4L?
