To those of you how have this bumper, how did the install go for you? I have my bumper and it doesn't seem to fit great. Did you have to remove or shave down the styrofoam support...it seems like that is what I will need to do. Any advice/help you could give would be appreciated.

Dal, I saw the supports you made for the bottom corners of this bumper...is that the only extra support you added to it?

Thanks

got your PM, figured i'd post up here.

i've had two of these -- first one went on w/out any modifications whatsoever, second one i had to cut out a little notch on the parts just under the corner lights to clear the headlight panel.

what i did both times was test fit it w/out the bumper brackets -- this helped figuring out where i needed to drill the holes for the brackets.

the styrofoam didn't get in the way at all w/ either of mine -- may want to check into that. maybe it's stickig out too far, or it could be that the material of the front bumper is too thick in that area. test fit it over and over again until you figure what it is. if you have to end up sanding a bit of the material off that sits up against the foam, do it little by little so you don't end up sanding too much off.

give it a few more tries and lemme know.

Hey good luck getting that on your car. it will look great!

on mine I had to do a bunch of fitting. Had to shim the side mounts out, had to trim the foam, and had to trim around where the headlights fit.

I also made some brackets to hold the bottom by the wheel wells, since they're hanging out in deep space.
