Well, i wreck my 94 cobra into a tree in the snow, and i was going to get the ABC Exclusive FT bumper (8011) cobra with the lip....

Now here is the problem. :dontknow: Everytime i call- this lady answers the phone, and will not give me the time of day. She has absolutly no product knowlege and swears that there produsts are the best in the market. The real truth is their "urathane" pruducts are not R.I.M. (reaction injection molded) like o.e.m. panels are (Ford). They are sprayed on with a gun, just like lineX des with a spray in bedliner. This is also how they seal roofs on buildings. Also, to top it off, half of their products are knock-offs of companies that have spent tens of thousnads of dollars designing and fitting. One other thing is i have also heard a lot of negitive feedback on the fitment, and how the urathane is so thin it warps and sinks.

Do you guys have any recomendations for me as for getting this type of bumper, or one simular that is not from them?
Any help would be great.

Wish I could help ya, but I cannot!  I am having that exact bumper added to my car right now.  Well, school out on Xmas break right now.  They will start back on the 5th.  They have my bumper ready to be painted, is all I know.  They are going to paint it off my car because it is brand new.  I already told them to let me know how it goes on.

I live 2 hrs from ABC Exclusive, so I went to pick it up.

The one I'm using is a ABC 8011 FBC/CO
Cobra w/the lip added already!

Sorry I don't know more than I do!  There are about 4-5 owners on here with that bumper!  I'll see if I can get you some user names.

Matt/site owner added the lip when ABC sold just it.
With it: Justinschmidt1, Stunner, and Dalamar has it that I know of for sure!

Actually Matt has a OEM cobra front (i believe) and the ABC add on lip. They no longer make the add on lip, which would be the best
route. But as far as ABCs quality goes... i will not buy another product from them.. I purchased the 03 cobra front look-a-like bumper
for the sn95, and also purchased the s281 wing from them. The bumper cracked and split, which i could maybe understand, because
it was a considerable amount larger than the factory one. But the spoiler began to crack at the seam on the back side (of course after
painting) I called cust. service. They told me that i would have to pay for shipping to and from their business, and they would do the
best they could to repair it, but then i would have to get the repaired portion repainted on my dime.. so i am living with the cracked
spoiler for now, and have since replaced my front bumper with OEM ford Cobra.

Keep Calling and give them the exact part number, or order it off the website. I talked to the same women when I returned a set of their side exhaust skirts because they were too short. They may be short staffed or something today with New Years coming up.

As far as the part, yeah, it is kinda poor quality (IMO). It will take some work to get right, but it does fit and look good once you get it installed. If you aren't willing to hassle with it, the OEM cobra bumper would be my next choice.

I just know that the Cobra front bumper & the GT rear, was OK. My body work is taking a while because I did not have the normal job. I had many things that just added to the work. Again, all I know is they are ready to be painted up. I don't have a clue as to how they will fit & stuff. Take it for what it's worth.

ya dalamar's car is beautiful, and im going for something like that for my cobra. Im sure he had a lot of work into the ABC bumper to make it fit right, reguardless its a low quiality way to produce a bumper... there in no urathane thickness control when "spraying" it into a mold. RIM is the way to go.

Im not trying to spread bad word about them, but rather just getting advice as well as giving a heads up to anyone interested in a ABC product. :eek:ccasion14:

Mine is fine...the urethane or w/e material seems to be prone to rock chipping...but other than that its all good.
