ABC EXCLUSIVE VS. KAENAN HOODS

What brand of S351 saleen hood does 95opal have? I was on abc exclusives website and could've sworn I saw his car on there. I'm planning on buying the S351 heat extractor hood but don't know who I should get it from.  MPS autosalvage has the same hood made by Kaenan but it's $100 more than ABC exclusives.

Is one better than the other (MPS vs. ABC)?     Hows ABC quality vs. Kaenan? I've already heard Kaenan makes one of the best hoods on the market. Just thinkin that if ABC has just as good quality? If I can save $100 that can go to painting, I will.

I see from his ROTM listing in the Garage section, it is a Saleen heat extractor hood.  I'm not for sure who exactly he bought it from though!  He's a super nice guy, just PM him.  I'm sure he'd love to tell you.  I know that MPS is an auto salvage place.  Just make sure you know it is a for sure good piece, I'd think. 

Here's what he typed:
Being the car was bought out of NY it had the typical NY dings in every corner of each bumper cover. That's where the Saleen kit came in. I just didn't see it fit to replace factory parts with factory parts. It just didn't make sense to me and what better than a Saleen vert? Once I had all the body panels I sent the car to my painter to give it a full resto. I had him take out every single ding and repaint the entire car including jams and trunk area.

He just has the regular saleen heat extractor, maybe an ABC one since I believe that's what the rest of his kit is.

I would go with Kaenan over ABC parts if you can. Even better are Cervanis.

I have a Kaenan Cobra RR hood on my car. Fit and quality are great.. It's super light too.

Sorry for the delay bro. It is indeed foom ABC. I looked into the keenan one but decided against it as the underside wasnt finished. They are the same hoods just the ABC has a finished underside. Might not make a diffeence to you but me being a show I freak just couldnt have it like that and yes thats my car on there site. you might also recognize 69clarks ride on there to.

Thanks for the reply. You have one sweet ride there Love the paint choice. I did notice that about the Kaenan. (underside not finished) Did the ABC hood line up like factory and did the painter have to "mud" it at all? Your thoughts please.
