okay Mr. Indecisive has made a decision and im going the route of saleen...already ordered the kaenan s281 spoiler, ho fibertrends 2.5" cowl hood...

now from what ive been reading REAL saleen quality is CRAP! abc exclusive looks to be half way decent and urethane and has a good amount of good reviews..but heres my issues...everyone says without the door fillers it will look funny and abc ex. kit doesnt come with them for $799 plus shipping...i see real saleen kits for $1299 plus shipping with them....

anyone know of where i can order JUST these door fillers?

I would avoid ABC exclusive, their quality isn't the greatest.. Their material is mostly fiberglass and doesn't flex very well. I bought a bumper
from them a few years ago and it tore in places and chipped off in others.. There are a few companies that sell the Saleen ground effects kits,
there's actually one in my local craigslist used right now.

Unfortunately, your best route is genuine saleen in this case. just look for a used kit, most of the prep work will be done in that case. But yes, right out of the box, saleen body parts are crap. Most are filled with tiny pinholes. In fact I bought a s351 spoiler once from them and in had body filler on it in a bunch of spots.

I've heard more problems of sagging and paInt not staying on oem saleen parts and it's $1300 for a real saleen kit.

I'd almost rather pay $700 for the mrbodykits one and $200 for KGB door fillers and if anything is lacking just replace it.

I've got no complaints from my ABC side covers, but I do agree about the OEM saleen stuff. The first S281 wing I bought sucked, had a bunch of pinholes and wouldn't line up in the least

Yeah just had a friend buy a saleen s281 spoiler from mustangs unlimited and it had pinholes, only had two mounting holes and double sided tape and the two holes didn't even line up right, my kaenan one just came in he swung by and mine bolted right up perfect to his car and looked MINT!...$20 more was WELL worth it

I think I'm still gonna go with mrbodykits for the kit just cause shipped it's the same price as abcexclusives before shipping. Then order kgb's door fillers tomorrow

It's all in the prep work the bodyshop you use re: paint sticking, if they dont add enough flex agent and adhesion promoter your paint will crack and not stick to the urethane bumpers... now as far as some aftermarket parts needing more work than original Saleen parts, this is b.s. all of these will require prep work, sanding, filling, etc to get these to line up properly!

ABC sells both fiberglass and urethane for most of there body kits, you just need to specify or actually read what material you are buying.

There saleen kit is good only problem is the side skirts and lack of fillers. The skirts dont resemble a saleen skirt whatsoever and the lack of a door filler just doesnt cut it.
I ordered there kit and bought original saleen skirts and filleres. I then sold the ABC skirts so I recouped some money that I shelled out for the saleen skirts. All in all I wound up paying what the real saleen kit would have cost.

The abc stuff was absolutely fine JFYI
