^I'm opening a "KillNThrill's revival fund" if anyone is interested in donating LOL. Sorry MC if plans change believe me you guys will be the first to know, but as of right now I'm not making the money I had be making previously, and owe my parents too much to ask them for more. I already asked, they said they would put off replacing the roof on the house, I felt bad, and decided no **** that I'm not about to be "that guy" lol. We'll see what happens man...

Reading this thread made me really happy I have a 5.0L. I'm pretty sure I had my T5 dropped out in about an hour.

I'm one of the few happy 4.6 guys in the trans removal department since my Cobra has a Viper T56 with the removable bell housing, so like a T5, dropping a T56 is a breeze.

so the easiest/ best way to drop a t-5 is to separate the tranny from the bellhousing then remove the bellhousing?

I'm pretty sure I took mine out, bellhousing and all in one move. Don't remember though, it's been quite a few months ago.

Negative, the bell housing has to be pulled to remove the clutch.

No, but it makes it a lot easier to disassemble/reassembly when you're not trying to line up a bellhousing and input splines at the same time.
