Just a quick question...I plan on doing an AC delete when I start putting my pullies back together with my new motor. I noticed that there is never a choice between 6/8 rib pulleys. Do I have to just buy any delete kit, and basically just use the bracket, and go to Ford and get the AC pulley in an 8 rib because I am going with an 8 rib setup? Thanks

you might have to get something custom.i just checked my cobra motor and the pulley is ran off the accessory belt, not the blower belt, so its 6 rib... (dang...)

oh okay, so it wont even matter because my 8 rib pulleys are a different belt than that of the AC belt which will be 6 rib?

I think I have an 8 rib A/C delete kit (bracket and pulley) sitting in my closet if you need it

Sitting in bumper to bumper traffic today on I95 and almost 90* and humid I was thinking about your AC Delete as I was pumping mine...

no no no. im sorry. didnt mean to confuse anyone.

the 04 cobra has two belts. one on the supercharger/alternator, one on the rest of the systems. The one on the supercharger and alternator are 8 rib, whereas the other is 6 rib.

i went to see if the A/C was run on the 8 rib belt (its not) and you might have been able to fabricate it.

your supercharger will most likely be run off the same belt as the rest of your systems (meaning you will only have one belt) thats how most street-supercharger-kits are set up.
