AC Stop working..High Low side pressure?

Hey Guys,

My car has been stored for 5 years. Pulled it out and tried the AC and it didn't work, thought it just needed a charge.Compressor is cycling on and off..put a gauge on the low side and it runs up to 55-60 and climbing and the compressor kicks out, pressure drops and it starts over again It's about a 90 Deg day. I thought that was to high for the low side?? Any ideas? I never was good at A/C even when I was wrenching.

Never Mind..Fixed it..DUH! My Girlfriend who was suppose to be manning the controls (Sure. I know, blame it on the girlfriend..lol), didn't have it on max and the fan on high and I guess that made the difference, she's so hot however . It was only 2.5 LBS low on 134..after 5 years in storage. Just checked it again and it is hold good pressure, hope it continues to hold! You can hang meat in there now!! Sorry to waste a post!
