I have them on my Chevy truck, makes it alot easier for me to change plugs with a big block and header's. They also move the boot away from the header so they quit burning.
i have a 454 in my truck with the accels also and are easy to remove, but then again any plug is easy to remove from a bigblock chevy, but with e/l headers on a mustang; any plug is a little bit of a bitch to remove
thanx guys....one other question tho....they are only a resistor plug not platium. do u think the copper tips are any better or worse then the platiums?
Platinum's one and only advantage is that it last's a zillion times longer than copper. In a stock or near stock application, they get the edge, but in any performance application, Platinum blows monkey nut's.
Well with the header's you're gonna be better off with a shorty plug. BUT, if you stick platinums in there, you can forget about them for 40-50k. They say 100k, but I like to be safe.
