Lately I have just gotten so sick and tired of the Mustang always needing repairs/being slow and having to daily drive it everyday for the past 3 years. I am weighing out my options right now and need some advice. I was thinking about selling my car and upgrading to a 96-98 Cobra, or a new edge GT. I was going to sell mine and take a 3,000 dollar loan out. With this being said I keep thinking about my car and how it would be my dream car if it had a cowl hood, side fenders and front bumper painted as well as getting more power out of it and some leather seats to make the interior updated. I was thinking maybe just getting these bullit seats in my area for 580 bucks and some type of H/C/I combo that can make 300 horse/300 tq and make it into the low 13's or high 12's since I know this car and car buying is a hassle! I can't find any websites selling a package H/C/I deal, or don't know where to look so some links would help! So should I sell it, buy the badass 4v DOHC motor (my favorite stock V8 Mustang sound),keep the 1995 Mustang GT and have it running badass with a few updates or buy the new edge car and have a newer car and decent power? I am just bored with the same car for 3 years and want some type of change (NO Obama type change). Any tips and advice are welcome. This car means alot to me, I paid for it from working my teenage years and it has gotten many compliments, and has actually picked me up a few chicks through the years lol. I have put alot of time and money into it and have also put a shit ton of miles on her! My grandma used to have a 95 GT vert and loves mine so she offered me 5k for the car yesterday if I fix the a/c and guage cluster. So a buyer is in line, and a decision needs to be made, so please help me guys!

Thanks!

Depends on how much you have in it and if you care if you get it back or not. That is nice you already have a buyer lined up... and with the status today you could probably work over a seller.

Still buying and selling a car is a hassle. You may get a good deal on another car, but someone will look to get a good deal on your car. But selling to your grandma is good because she already gaurunteed you 5k. But upgrading a 4v car cost some $$$. The easiest and most likley the cheapest would be to keep your 5.0 and build it the way you want. Plus you wont have to wait to find a car you like/ or sell yours because who knows when something will come along.

Dreams change with age and available money. Sell it and get something more reliable. You'll always regret selling the car but that's parts of growing up and older.

It really depends on what you want. There are several sites dedicated to the Mustang. I have done a ton of research on a few forums. I have received a lot of good advice to point me in the direction I want to go. Just think about what you want and know the intelligent questions. Saying I want 300 horse power will get you a ton of responses some negative and some positive.

I did a lot of reading before posting my first questions so I could get an idea of what can be done and asked questions based on the knowledge I had gained by my own research. If you say I would like to run low 12's on a 347 stroker on a $5000 budget what HCI would you recommend. People will know that you have a little plan and be able to help you.

If you are looking for a 5.0 (302/331/347) based engine. I would check out fordstrokers.com Woody gets great reviews on all mustang sites that I have been to. There are many people with his engines in there Mustangs.

If the car means alot to you i would say Keep it and just get a daily driver and just work on the mustang as funds allow. You can get a Trick Flow Top end kit.

Something like this.
http://treperformance.com/i-90333-trick-flow-360-hp-twisted-wedge-top-end-engine-kits-for-ford-5-0l.html

To make more power out of the 4v Dohc Motor is not cheap. If you have the funds then by all means knock yourself out. I most likely am just going to get a refreshed block from 5.0 resto and throw something like this Top End kit on there and i think i will be more then happy with the power i will be making. Well at least for a little while. :)
