Aerosheild Gas tank cover - Group buy

Hey guys. Over on SVTperformance one of the members is recreating the Aerosheild gas tank cover that used to be sold by CDC. Discontinued a few years back and no one makes this anymore. Anyways the more people in on this, the lower the price will be so I'm spreading the word to see if their is any interest here. Fits all SN95 models.

Yes the CDC piece is mostly for people who are running dumps or have side exhaust but there are 3 versions being planned right now and one of them would be urathane with exhuast cutouts to allow tailpipes. :thumb:

I remember the CDC ads in MM&FF back in 97.....I thought (and still do) it was pretty kool esp with the side exhaust...My buddy has the complete CDC kit (Side skirts and exhaust, and the Aerosheild) on his 94 ragtop from back then...still looks awesome!

I guess it promotes being a little different....rather than everybody turn their cars into Saleens or Cobras......or use them fugly import/ricer influenced blackwidow/bomber/evo style body kit garabge....

again, this CDC Areosheild was available in the mid-late 90s.....

Thanks for the responses guys! Now at least I know where you stand, I thought maybe nobody was checking what this was about. I realize it's not for everyone, I just assumed since EVERYONE here drives an SN-95 it would have a little more interest thats all. Also just because of the fact that it isn't made anymore I figured some guys on here might have wanted it but could never find it before. I plan on painting mine black when I get it (my car is laser red) so I will post some pics up later this year I guess and see what you guys think. :thumb:
