is there a way to tell what kind of cold air intake you have? like a part number or serial? and where is it located if so......i tried getting smogged but I guess a new cali law is you need the stock one of the part number/serial.

if it is a big brand name, there is usually a big tag riveted in place in the case of bbk, mac or andersone power pipes. IF it is a cheap knock off, well there is nothing on it.

what he said, both of my aftermarket ones haven't had so much as a part number on them.

Even a MFG tag wont work for most cali checks, they will accept nothing less then a CARD compliant badge
