So I have a procharged 95 GTS, and I've been looking into getting an upper and lower intake for it. I talked to some people on some other forums and I guess BBK sucks? I was really hoping to get the look of the SSI along with a small gain in power but everyone I've talked to says the craftsmanship on them is so poor it makes them almost impossible to even install, let alone run boost through. So the question comes down to, has anyone ran an aftermarket intake on a boosted 94-95? If so what kind of results did ya get(good or bad). Let me know.

Your always going to see an increase with an after market intake over stock, especially boosted, However while BBK makes great throttle bodies and great exhaust, Their Intake manifolds aren't the best.

We installed a SSI on my buddies procharged fox and let me tell you it was a major PITA, had to dremel quite a few areas of the intake because of clearence issues. However the finished product looked great!! I would say check into either Trickflow or Edelbrock for a nice intake manifold kit or Holley.

What else is done to the motor besides the ProCharger? sounds relatively stock.......

Like what Asylum938 said, have a look into the other brands like Trick Flow, Edelbrock, Holley....or even look into the GT-40/ Cobra intake...

Hell, just pick up an explorer intake from a JY or ebay or the classifieds and pop that on. OEM quality, fits perfect and will improve upon the crap HO intake very much.
