The plenum, sucking a lot more air in can raise the idle. Did you try to reset idle through the computer? I walked Jeremy95gt through it on the facebook page this morning.

yea i might just do without the o/r pipe. cant do the whole smoke thing, lol. may need your help with the plenum/idle issue though if ya dont care

Even after tuning my idle spiked. I have a plate in there permanently. When you disconnect the battery, leave it off for about 15 minutes. And yes, just the negative side.

Start it up with no accessories for 2 or 3 minutes, then shut it off for 2 or 3 minutes, then start it up with all accessories (a/c, headlights, radio) for 2 or 3 minutes.

Anyone care to correct me?

with the 4.6 all my bolt on's were problem free and worked great. I never even had a custom tune..i ran
ported typhoon manifold
c&l plenum
75mm c&l Tbody
80mm mafs
24lb injectors
full exhaust no cats or anything
lower grade thermostat
msd coilpacks and wires with copper plugs
full nitrous kit
PI cams
and a handheld superchips tuner, not a custom tune

now with my 5.0 all I have done was an explorer upper&lower,new style 19's, and ignition and it cost me a trans by the TV cable coming off,so now its getting a built 88gt trans with a shiftkit and dynamic TC...

lol, yea ProKiller i put some bolt on shit w/o getting a tune...so fuukin what, lol. yea prokiller and opal i know how to put on body kits and i like them so fuukin what. yea venom, prokiller, and opal i know how to adjust my fuukin idle screw. dont get shit twisted that because i have a body kit that i'm some fuukin idiot that doesnt even know how to do shit besides what you mustangers would call "rice" out a car, lol.

Easy brotha, ryan was just breakin it down in a simplified version for ya... as we know your not totally up to steam on some of the performance aspects with these cars. Has nothing to do with your body kit, hell I have a body kit so theres no hatin goin on, just got a kick out of his analogy ..thats all.
