Were any of them (94-98 of course) functional, or just for aesthetics?

94-95 were "functional"....meaning they were actua vents, but do absolutley nothing for performance.

94-95 actually were functional vents... doesn't do much to cool down the brakes though...

you should use them to run twin turbo's in the back. besides a little bit of lag it would be a pretty good sleeper car :D

A guy actually did this, well sorta he ran rear mounted turbos with the air intake at the back of the side door vents...kinda cool.

Mine's from july 96 and I don't have them. But I was thinking of drilling them thru...
