Is there a replacement clock Spring? I keep reading that the 95-98 clock spring differs from the '94 part...

looking at buying a '94GT with 49k miles....and the airbag light is on.

Mine is on too...there is a way to clear/reset that light. Over by the glove box on the left side is a fairly large grey plug just hanging there not plugged into anything. Inside are 3 male prongs...you need to jumper the outer two... I forget the exact timing of doing it but there is a thread on here that gives you the procedure. If there is nothing really wrong it will not come back on, hopefully.

Here is a diagram of the plug

I searched & found this...http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/te.../airBag95.html

engine off with key all the way turned on. find that plug that looks like a male harness thats not connected to anything(has 3 prongs). its behind your glove box so you may have to take it off. look for it in the lower left area. just use a jumper to connect the two outside prongs together. bout 5 seconds pass and youll hear a beeping. after that, your airbaglight will be flashing consistently and it should be good than. turn the key off and back on again and the airbaglight should be gone.

I've done the jumper thing a couple times. Each time my battery died, the air bag light would stay on, hasn't done it for at least 10 years. Not sure why it had a habbit back then.
