airbag system ?

I have a 95gt. does anyone know where the actual computer system box is for the airbag system? my haynes manual doesnt tell me that i can. im wanting to turn it off so i can replace my airbags with the UPR delete kit but i also at the same time dont want the airbag light on my dash to stay on. thanks....

I know the module is on the interior floor of the car, if thats what your looking for. On the transmission hump across from your gas pedal.

oh ok so its basically under the dash behind the radio and stuff??? becaus ei have my center console off when i redid my interior recently and under the center console there was no box so thats what im trying to find is the actual computer or module that controls the air bag system. i appreciate your help.

The module is a blue box behind the radio/cd player. You can access it by going on the sides (by the gas pedal and then on passenger side) by pulling the carpeting loose and moving it out of the way. There is a plug that goes into it. To get the box itself out, remove the four green bolts (2 on each side) I think they are 8 mm but i dont remember.

But I dont think removing it will make the light turn off.

Easier way is to just remove the airbag light out of the cluster.
