airplane wax?

hey guys just a random question here and i need to know if this is a good idea or not. ive got a buddy of mine who owns a plane and he said he could hook me up with some good plane wax. good idea or no for the mach? he put it on his truck and it looked niiiiiiice

Plane wax is pretty much the same as car wax.

You should be fine using it but I dont know if it will actually add any visual appeal to your paint but it will protect it.

Can you send me a Little Bit of the Plane wax for my collection? Just a few Ounces should be enough....

whats it called? I've waxed our planes with meguiar's gold class wax, pretty good stuff, paint is paint i don't see how planes would need anything special......Did he get it from aircraft spruce?

i have no idea i only had a couple words with him. he said its high quality stuff and its free so i figured, why not?

just a thought, but it myst really be a pain in the a$$ to wash and wax a plane...

i wouldnt say its hard. probably just takes soooo long to do the whole thing

Someone on Autopia was hired to Detail Air Force One.... they used a whole team of guys.
