Alarm

Quick question... On my alarm remote when I hit the lock button it locks the door but doesn't chirp. I kicked my tire and the alarm didn't sound. Any ways on how to reset it? Also, what does the aux button mean? Thanx

there is a real good chance that you just have a keyless entry, and not an alarm. We would need to know a brand or something to help you, does the remote say anything on it?

Also though kicking tires is not normally a good way to set alarms off with they way the rubber absorbes the vibrations.

+1 On some more information.

A lot of cars just have key less entry without alarm.

As for the AUX button that could be hooked up for a variety of things, mine for example, pops my trunk.
