Had a disagreement with BADASS98SVT...


Long story short as possible.


I listed a steering wheel for sale leather 2 toned wheel to be more specific. badass98svt was interested so i txt him a bunch of pics and info on its condition. He shot me a few low ball offers but i made an attempt to help the guy out and give him a good deal on the wheel, He then decided to play the question game and the best of all was he wanted to know who stiched the steering wheel, I tell him its a factory two tone wheel that someone at ford must have stiched but he wanted to inform me that oem steering wheels never came in two tone.

Between the doubt in his mind that i was selling something other then what i have decribed in my listing and the things he had to say i decided the $15 bucks i would make off the wheel is no longer worth me trying to help the guy out and i replyed to his text and told him sorry the wheel was no longer for sale. He then replyed with i already sent payment. I check paypal 30 mins go's buy and i never got a penny from this guy. So i let him know i never got anything on my end. He tells me this is BS and "wow" what a stand up guy i was and that he would be sure to pass the word along. Claiming that im shaddy :dontknow:

I texted him back and told him to be blunt you informed me it was not OEM as the buyer, that assured me you had no idea what you were buying or what you were talking about and that it was and always will be OEM.Then later claimed he cancelled the payment and that he would be sure to pass the word along..



Point of the matter is we did not see I to I on Price or the fact that it is a OEM wheel so i told him it was no longer for sale. And went about my business.. I just figured i would post this here so you guys can read what happen in short before anything is said to try and make me look bad as a seller here on the forums.



And please if anyone here has had a bad experience with me as a buyer or seller please feel free to post any thoughts or comments you have about me here, I am just curious what everyone has to say?

This is the info i was looking for, i know he has many post here so im guessing he has been around the site a long time but very little trader feedback and just the vibe i was getting from the situation i was starting to think its going to be more trouble then it was worth.

Ive been on here 3 years this may, ive sold to alot of members on and off the forum in that time and have never had anyone give me any problems, Between here a few other forums and ebay i have over 275+ possitive feebacks.
Majority of them from the last 2 years...

Although i think i was rude and created the problem by backing out of the sale in the middle of us discussing the part and price, i feel as the seller i have the right to not sell my item for what ever reason...

That guy has lowballed me before on something on Corral, I didn't even bother responding. Most of the time I would atleast shoot someone a counter offer or something, but all I see that guy do is Lowball. Hell, he offered someone $30 Shipped for a pair of taillights. By the time the person sold them for that, and paid for gas to drive to UPS, there wouldn't be enough profit for a double cheeseburger. What a joke.

Pretty much what i was thinking, I hook people up on parts to help them out sometimes but damn.After you break it down from what i paid for the part what i sold it for paypal fees gas etc like you sad you have nothing in the end and i rather hold on to it or wait till a local guy needs it to save me the trouble of shipping an item.

BTW Thanks alot for the deal on the bumper, Its coming along slow but straight for the most part...

Yeah, i've been sticking to local sales lately because people for some reason expect you to send them brand new parts for new prices. I'd rather lose a couple dollars selling it locally than having to ship it off to someone that can't see it first hand before they buy it. Glad the bumper went to someone that can put it to some use.

Yeah, i've been sticking to local sales lately because people for some reason expect you to send them brand new parts for new prices. I bought a few items from CUBE and not only was the price right he went out of his way for me to be able to go pickup the parts on a specific day of the week! Also bought from Dfgpimpin and he has always come through! I also like to keep it local! and Dfg can testify that I didn't want to shoot him an offer on the black interior parts I bought from him because I didn't want to insult him or lowball him! I gave him a price, he countered, we met up, I paid, and left with my parts... As long as you are here locally to serve the Sn95 community with good quality used parts at low prices I will buy from you...
