Has anyone ever put their front springs in an alternative way like with a chain or cargo straps? Ive been trying to put my front stock springs back in and they are a PITA. No matter what I do or how I reposition the spring compressor they wont go on the control arm. This is driving me nuts bc im moving in one month and I dont always have the time to even look at my garage bc of my work schedule. Any help from the pros would be great. Oh and its a 94 5.0...back to the garage i go.

My friend has a pro spring clamp compressor and i struggled even with that.
Its down to the coils being close together and made of pretty thick steel meaning a lot of compressors wont go on, can you not hire something to clamp them up?
Never mess with springs either, i nearly lost a few fingers once.

Are you serious?
I've change springs about 4 times on my 94 and never once I used a spring compressor.

I know it sounds dumb but i mean i took out my rear springs when i replaced the rear LCAs a long time ago and it was nowhere near as hard as doing my fronts. I tell people at work m dilema and they had the same reaction as you javi. FML is guess. I can have my struts attached in no time, even with that is there anyway I can tow it down the road without one spring for the mechanic on post to work on it for 5 minutes?

If you don't mind doing it, cut one coil off and they will go in much easier.
