Ok, so I spun a bearing in my 140k original motor. This was about a month ago, some of you saw the thread i'm sure.
After a few weeks of research, I decided on the 10:1 CR Aluminator Short block. Got a killer deal on it through the great gentemen over at Tousley Ford. Ordered it last Tuesday.
Friday when i got out of work, I had the car towed over to the shop.

So I got a text from the shop owner last Friday afternoon:

It was kinda like fate. Apparently, the car arrived just seconds before the short block. it's like they can't wait to be joined together!

Then Monday, I got this:

Well, today I had the day off, so i took a ride up to the shop. As always, it was very clean. I just wanted to check out the work in progress.

The heads will be getting sent over to Modularheadshop - MHS They are highly recommended from damn near everyone I've spoke with. I'm getting them completely rebuilt and having them open up the exhaust ports to Termi head specs, as well as bowl port the short side radius of the intake port. I also have a Helicoil in my #7 plug hole. They will be installing a Timesert in there for me.
The heads will be shipped out either tomorrow or Friday.

Also ordered a March Damper, hope that frees up 1 or 2 hp as well.

Parts NEEDED:
OIL COOLER ADAPTER (the oem piece which mounts to the block and houses the sending unit
WATER PUMP Should I go with a 99 unit? Is it just a straight bolt on?

It probably leaked then. I actually did the same thing. I didn't know it came apart. I got a replacement one from a guy on svtp that was already apart. I just put new rings in it and put it back together. Good as new. I got it cheap, like $50. Look around over there, should be easy enough to find. I think they're like $300 new from ford.

No

It's a whole new Short Block (Aluminum block, Forged crank, forged pistons, forged rods, gt40 bearings etc)
