Another best cam for "this application" thread....

Ok so im building my car up to be a street/roadracing track car, like replicaR's. Im gathering parts, and so far, I have a gt40 intake, Im wondering what would be a good cam to compliment e7's or gt40's when I can upgrade. Keep in mind the car doesnt need a lot of power, I just want to have more than stock, on a budget.

The stock cam is pretty good actually, especially with a 1.7 rocker... And it's free, and already in there.

+1. If you are leaving the E7's and gt intake on, i would run your cam and get some Cobra (crane cams) 1.7 roller rockers. I did that for a client of mine who races CMC with me and he was very impressed with the change. If you plan on getting some gt40 heads later, i would buy the 1.7 roller rockers and get a E303, steeda #19 or TFS 1

I like the stock cam for blower/turbo's and the 303 for NA and DD.

Oh ok well Im definitely running the gt40 intake, not just a stock gt ho intake.

Either intake, the cam isn't holding you back, the heads are.
