"This car won't be sold to any sixteen year old kids with fantasies of being the next "drift king" so don't bother calling. If you're at home and trying to convince dad this is the car for you.....it isn't." ahahaha good for him.

that sounds like my friend when he went to go look at a hayabusa. the guy told him he couldnt handle the power of the bike, well my friend said, you see that busa over there? thats mine, and it has more money in the motor than you do in your chrome. and walked away

It's great that he won't sell it to a 16 yo kid. that's not a kid's car, a young teenager doesn't need a track ready car to drive too and from high school. that's as big of a waste as the people that buy the cars to never drive them. If I was a kid I'd rather have an 03 Cobra anyways, better looks, quicker, WAY nicer interior, radio, better fuel economy, etc etc etc. so i don't think that guy is far off at all.

You know the thing of it is. This is still HIS car until he signs over the title to someone else. So if he only wants to sell it to talking Iguanas he can.

You can tell he's an enthusiast that doesn't want to sell it to some idiot kid who is going to wrap it around a tree two weeks later, he wants the car to go to a good home.

Still, stereotyping is kind of rude. A kid like me who UNDERSTANDS cars would know how special that car is, and I guarantee you that this guy didn't use this car for it's intended purposes either. There are a ton of teenage moron drivers, but to lump all of us, especially the young enthusiasts, with the dumb drivers is insulting.

they have dumb irresponsible drivers of all ages and just because were teenagers doesn't mean we can't drive or don't know
anything about cars and even if he feels that way its pretty rude to put it in the ad

he said he wouldnt sell it to a teenager, but if you didnt know what it was he'd explain it.
for me it would be the other way around. if ur 16 and u know exactly what ur buying, and youre not spending mommy and daddys money, go for it kid you have a BAMF cobra R.
i would absolutely not sell it to the guy whose like "No, youre thinking of a Civic! Ford never made a Type R!"
