Ok so I have never personally done this but am considering it. My old 1980 bronco 302 is of course flat teppet.I want to grab some stock gt40 heads to swap on? Will I need to change pushrods or anythin. I've never done a flat/roller hybrid before. I'm also puttin the edlebroc intake and 4bbrl with longtubes.

I know its not mustang related but still pushrod and you guys are very helpful

Its a fullsize. After it has some more power I have a single axle to go in the front and 8" of lift on 38" tires

I would expect to at least replace the pushrods. But measure to be sure
Why not get some roller rockers and make it full roller.
You might need to replace the Dizzy gear too. Bronse for a roller cam I think.
