sup guys? well i read a few posts on here about turbo kits from fox bodies. on one of the posts someone said that an hp turbo kit will work on an sn form a fox. obviously there is more to it than just ac lines. i mean what about the intake? we all know that fox intakes are obviously diffrent. unless you changed the cold side from the intercooler maybe?? i dont know. does anyone have any more experiance in doing this? in detail? i have a 95 gt stock with exahust. i really dont see much need in changing much for a turbo setup. if the threshold of the stock block is 500HP it doesnt make much since to do alot of engine work. i mean most kits are capable of supporting those numbers out of the box with not much work. i cant offord a complete kit. so i want to make a diy kit i want to get the hot side and start from there. its hard to find the parts for an sn , however its easy to find fox turbo parts. so what do i do ? can anyone hook me up with some more info? :TY:

$3,100 for a complete SN95 specific kit from Ponydown performance. Great reputation and proven quality/results. Just save your money and buy it outright instead of piecing it together. Besides its not like you can do anything at all until you have a full setup so why do a frankenstein?

i plan on gettin the turbo manifolds and downpipe off of ebay(those $800-$1000) and turbo and pieceing it together. the guy doing mine has experience doing those, so maybe he knows the short cuts, but ive never heard nothing about the intake changing.

I would do your homework if you want to do a diy setup. If you got the skills I would say go for it. If not I would buy one outright.

^Seriously. I'd steer clear of the ebay manifolds and crossovers too. Hell, you can get a manifold crossover only kit form Ponydown or B&G for less than $1,000. And you do NOT want an ebay turbo, they're made in China, low quality units that have blown up on many people trying to cut corners. Just check out turbomustangs.com for more info. Same with those cheap ass BOVs and Wastegates. They're cheap chinese copies of Tials and whatnot that just aren't any good.

Listen to me if you want, its not my motor that'll blow up when a chinese turbo comes apart and shoots a bunch of metal parts into it.

I would say buy the best turbo you can. Even if you go with cheaper manifolds and bov. The turbo is the heart of the system and needs to be the best you can afford.

not a turbo off of ebay, just the manifold kit. unless you know someone who can rebuild the turbo, then buy cheap and have it rebuilt, but i dont know anyone round here who does that.
