Anyboy with GPS in their stang?

After driving a few cars with Navigation...I am totally hooked.

I am looking at Garmin and TomTom GPS systems...and I was wondering if any of you guys have these?

I want to get one, but have it custom built in to my dash, I don't want to suction cup it to my windshield.

Lets see some pics! Did you guys find a cool way to mount it thats not in the dash and not in the windshield? I want some ideas...

I have the Garmin 330 and Love it, Its not permanently mounted though as I use it in many different cars. Its worth its weight in gold, a very useful tool when traveling.

Yea...I may be rethinking my mounting idea...I think it would look really cool mounted on the side of my dash facing me...kind of a subtle mounting spot not right on the windshield...

They are so cheap, less than $300 for complete piece of mind, I'll take it :thumb:

I'm not sure if I want to go with Tom Tom or Garmin, they are both quality companies. I've used a Garmin before and loved it, and Tom Tom seems to be really nice too. I don't think I can go wrong with either company.

I'm going to be custom mounting it where the stock CD player is, and getting a new head unit.

Its just a one time fee, you don't have to pay monthly for it...

You can get a nice quality Garmin one for $240....sooo sweet.

I'm probably going to go with a TOMTOM from ebay...they are cheap.

Balla? Hell no, i hate seeing stupid GPS Navigation things stuck to the windshield, looks like Crap..... Those GPS things are for Women that dont have a sense of direction. I have a Penis so it tell me where to go....hasn't failed me yet
