anyone have the door codes for the rear axle???

Just wanted to see if anyone in here has the list of ratios for the axle door codes.
and any other cool decoding information that we could use to find out about what
our GT's came with from the factory.

if it came with 17 inch wheels then it can with 3.27s

Y is the code for a non limited slip 3.08 axle.
Z is the code for a limited slip 3.08 axle.
E is the code for limited slip 3.27 axle.
And my 95Gt auto with 17" factory rims is an M coded axle with 2.73:1 rear axle

In fact just ordered a 3:73 complete axle from Summit today [well 10pm GMT] so the 2.73 will be put away somewhere. :thumb:
I know everyone likes 4:10, but at $10 per gallon here and a supercharger next year, it seemed a good choice at the time.
