we dont have drag strips down here, so street racing is very common... we mostly do it around midnight in some lonely avenue and like 2v_takeover just hang out with my friends and have some good car conversation

Javi.
Same here- I used to street race after high school until I realized how dumb we looked, but in college after getting stressed out with school, i would take a night cruise and enjoy some music, it really helps calm the nerves. I also had some blue undercarriage lights (love em or hate em) that obviously didn;t make me fast, but really adds to a cruise night. Then cruises just became more fun than racing high school kids with rich parents, neither of which knew what was under the hood.2v_takeover said:Well, where I'm from all the kids around here usually have their parents buy expensive cars for them, then just run them to the ground. I honestly prefer a good cruise night, and good car conversation. Once again though, kids around here don't know there sh*t. Stickers = horsepower haha
yup yup. I work with kid whose parents bought him a a 96 Firebird Formula (he called it a Trans Am and told me it had an LS1). after his dumb ass clearly demonstrated he couldnt handle 350hp in his first car, he got a Monte Carlo SS (which he preceded to rice the fuck out of). Then an Eclipse GSX the other day.ProjectVicky98 said:Then cruises just became more fun than racing high school kids with rich parents, neither of which knew what was under the hood.
Jeese. If you're gonna rice out a car, at least rice out an import tuner. I'll try and help out a kid if he obviously doesn't know what he's talking about, because let's face it, most of us were out there trying to act like we knew all about our car. I thought my car was fast when I was street racing cause I always won, but then I realized I was just racing slow @$$ cars. Thank god we have forums now to help clueless kids find the facts.RockstarMentality said:yup yup.
